300-Ton Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Project

Dean Dr. Panuwat Traekul participated in a waste incineration project with a capacity of no less than 1,000 tons per day at the Waste-to-Energy Plant for the Environment, Nong Khaem District, on June 20, 2025.

Installation of PM 2.5 Dust Quality Monitors

The faculty of Environmental Engineering, together with network partners such as Nong Khang Phlu Police Station, the Nong Khaem District Office, and Thai Pipe Co., provided funding for the installation of PM 2.5 dust quality monitors at 2 locations at South-East Asia University, along with water spray systems to help reduce dust problems.

Project to Develop Practice Guidelines for Determining Pollutant Discharge Loads and Pollution Carrying Capacity for Setting Provincial Pollution Discharge Limits

Dr. Panuwat Traekul, Dean, and Dr. Surasak Klangsupawiphat, a water resources expert, provided academic services as speakers in the project to develop practice guidelines for determining pollutant discharge loads and pollution carrying capacity for setting provincial pollution discharge limits, with participants from the Pollution Control Department also attending the training.
