Environmental Engineering

The world is changing rapidly today, yet environmental protection continues alongside economic and social development. Here, you have the opportunity to experience and learn practical professional skills, including:

  • Environmental Treatment System Design : Designing and controlling wastewater treatment systems, hazardous waste disposal systems, air pollution management systems, and water supply systems
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) : Analyzing potential environmental impacts and planning environmental quality monitoring
  • Analytical & Problem Solving : Combining scientific principles with engineering techniques to analyze and find ways to prevent/resolve environmental impacts

Program Objectives

  • To produce academic and practical bachelor’s degree graduates with the knowledge to practice environmental engineering across various fields, capable of applying that knowledge to effectively develop society in line with government policy under the national development plan and the workforce needs of the labor market and society, in industry, the public sector, and various service industries
  • To respond to the needs of environmental engineers and keep pace with technological advances in environmental engineering
  • To produce graduates with knowledge combined with virtue, ethics, and professional conduct, capable of applying their knowledge to build a happy career

Career Opportunities

Graduates can pursue the careers listed below, or others, except professions requiring a professional license

  • Environmental Engineer in the private sector, such as design work, construction, water supply production, wastewater treatment, municipal and industrial waste disposal, and environmental impact assessment
  • Environmental Engineer in government agencies
  • Researcher/Research Assistant in environmental engineering
  • Lecturer in environmental engineering or environmental industrial technology at educational institutions
  • Sales Engineer promoting products in the environmental sector
  • Independent entrepreneur, such as contracting treatment system construction work and environmental consulting

Admission Requirements

  • Graduate of upper secondary school (Mathayom 6) or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Higher Vocational Certificate (Por.Wor.Sor.) or equivalent
  • Must have good conduct, with no moral deficiencies and good manners
  • Must be physically healthy, with no diseases that are considered socially objectionable
